About This Vehicle
The MG MGA is an iconic British sports car manufactured by MG (Morris Garages) between 1955 and 1962. The model marked a completely new era in the brand's history, as it featured a modern, streamlined body, breaking with MG's previous, more classic style. The MGA was available with a variety of engines, the most common being the 1489 cc and 1588 cc inline four-cylinder engines with outputs ranging from 68 to 90 hp. Its lightweight construction and rear-wheel drive provided a sporty and enjoyable driving experience. The MGA was a great success not only in Europe but also in the United States, and to this day it is considered one of the most beautiful and popular classics of British roadster culture. The car is in excellent condition. It has never been damaged and does not need any bodywork or paintwork repairs. Its paintwork is original. From 1957 to 2018 it was located in Virginia; the model was later found again in California before being restored in Hungary. All interior components and surfaces are intact and in perfect condition. Mechanically perfect, no repairs needed. The transmission shifts smoothly, makes no noise, the engine does not emit blue or white smoke, and there is no rust on the car. The car has undergone a complete renovation, so everything is in its original condition and ready to drive. The renovation is fully documented with photos. It has driven 192 km since the renovation. So, as the new owner, you can sit in a car that is practically new. This model is equipped with a 1.5-liter 72-horsepower inline four-cylinder engine, which moves the 902-kilogram car with surprising ease. Furthermore, the power of the 1.5-liter engine is transferred to the rear wheels via a 4-speed manual transmission. The car is painted British Racing Green and features beige leather interior, which enhances its sense of prestige.
